The eco 800 is the ideal pump for pools up to 60,000kl. This pump is best matched with the following sand filters.

Sand filter with the diameter of around 600mm will best be suited to this quality pump. The Eco 800 has 3 factory pre set speeds. The pump always starts on high speed. This is to make sure the system is primed properly. If the low speed (super power saving) is enabled, then the motor automatically goes to this speed after a period of time.

This has variable speed settings and has features such as anti entrapment cut off. If long hair was sucked into a suction area, then the anti entrapment device turns off the pump!

Astral Evo Pool Pump
The Evo pumps we sell are the Astral Hurlcon 8 star. We have sold many Evo P320 and work very well. They run at about 400watts or 8 cents per hour of motor running time, when on low speed.

Astral P600 Evo Pump- 8 star rating more info
The Astral Hurlcon P600 8.5 star is a larger pump that will run on a 33″ sand filter. This pump has variable speeds that can be set. Also an inbuilt timer. Many features are the selling point of this pump.
We have installed this unit on a friends pool and the electricity saving for their very large pool will pay off the pump in less than 1 year! If we put this on off peak, we could get a saving of 1/2 again.
